Mr. Dodson oversees the Wealth Management division for Salem Partners. In addition to his duties as Director, Mr. Dodson created and is responsible for SPWM's proprietary research process. He also creates and implements investment strategies for clients and above all, serves every aspect of SPWM's client needs. Mr. Dodson joined Salem after serving as Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Essential Advisers, Inc., a wealth management firm in Denver serving ultra affluent investors. While at Essential, Mr. Dodson was responsible for the design, implementation and management of Essential's client portfolios, deploying a wealth of investment and analytical skills for the benefit of clients. Additionally, Mr. Dodson designed and managed Essential's disciplined Large Cap Growth stock portfolio and played an integral role in serving clients. Before joining Essential Advisers, David was Director of Investment Planning for a billion dollar investment management firm in Overland Park, Kansas. Mr. Dodson holds a Masters of Science in Finance degree from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas, is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, a Certified Financial Planner® Certificant and a member of the Denver Society of Securities Analysts. |  | Goli Kamangar Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations
Mrs. Kamangar joined Salem Partners Wealth Management in 2006 and is Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations. Mrs. Kamangar spent the previous five years with Bear Stearns as a Relationship Manager, a liaison role between introducing firms and various specialized departments. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mrs. Kamangar was a Vice President at Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco where she created the Asset Management Consulting Group operations and procedures. Previous to Thomas Weisel Partners, Mrs. Kamangar was at Montgomery Securities, where she headed the Trading and Operations department for the Investment Management Consulting Division. Mrs. Kamangar is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with honors and received a professional designation in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mrs. Kamangar currently holds the following NASD licenses; Series 6,7,63,65,9,10. |  | Max Shen Senior Analyst
Mr. Shen joined Salem Partners Wealth Management in May of 2007. Mr. Shen is primarily responsible for providing analytical support to SPWM’s proprietary research process. He plays an important role in manager selection, ongoing manager monitoring, creating and maintaining portfolio strategies for SPWM clients. Before SPWM, Mr. Shen interned at Alabama Power’s Energy Trading Desk and worked in the financial services industry. Mr. Shen holds a Masters of Science in Finance degree from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from UC San Diego. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and passed Level II of the CFA examination in 2009. |  | Alex Keyfes Analyst
Mr. Keyfes joined Salem Partners Wealth Management in January 2010. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz. As an undergraduate he interned at an alternative investments hedge fund where he was responsible for analytical support of asset allocation, marketing efforts, and carbon credit market related ventures. He furthered his studies with an M.A. in Statistics and an M.A. in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara during the span of which he was a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Upon Mr. Keyfes’ graduation and prior to joining SPWM he was a Consulting Analyst at a private high net worth family wealth management office in Santa Barbara where he supported hedge fund selection via analytical and quantitative due diligence. |  | Rebecca Olsson Operations Assistant Ms. Olsson joined Salem Partners in the summer of 2008. Prior to joining Salem, she worked for CIBC World Markets in their Los Angeles Equity Research Division. Ms. Olsson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University with a B.A. in International Affairs, received a language certificate from Beijing Foreign Studies University and was a Hansard Scholar at London School of Economics.
